The highly anticipated spring/summer 2024 Men's Fashion Week edition spanned two weeks this June in iconic fashion capitals such as London, Pitti Uomo, Milan, and Paris. Renowned fashion brands, including Louis Vuitton and Prada, showcased their cutting-edge menswear collections to a captivated audience of players in the fashion industry, esteemed journalists, and prominent celebrities, effectively generating widespread online exposure for their brand and new collection.
Lefty conducted a comprehensive analysis of all 139 brands showcased at Men's Fashion Week to determine the level of visibility each brand and collection received on social media. We focused on identifying the key celebrities and influencers responsible for generating the most visibility. To measure this, we heavily relied on Earned Media Value (EMV), a metric that quantifies the monetary value equivalent to the cost of achieving the same online visibility. Our calculation formula is as follows:
