However, compared to Haute Couture SS24, this season experienced significant declines: visibility dropped by 15%, posts of Haute Couture AW24 fell by 21%, online engagement decreased by 20%, and influencer attendance plummeted by 67%. These trends suggest that online audiences were less engaged with the content, and overall, attendees posted less Haute Couture content on social media. Additionally, the viral Maison Margiela show by John Galliano last season garnered substantial visibility and organic posts, contributing to the comparative decline this season.

This season, luxury powerhouses Balenciaga, Dior, Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Giorgio Armani led the social media visibility rankings, largely thanks to influencers. Unlike the Menswear and Womenswear seasons, where leading influencers are predominantly from Thailand and South Korea, the top brands on the EMV chart collaborated with diverse nationalities. American, Brazilian, Indian, and Filipino influencers made a significant impact. Furthermore, most top influencers weren't exclusive to a single show; they created content for various shows, enhancing their reach and influence.

Top Brands of Haute Couture AW24: EMV Evolution

Compared to Haute Couture AW23, nearly all the top ten most visible brands experienced significant increases in their Earned Media Value (EMV) for AW24. The Parisian house, Ashi Studio, saw the most remarkable rise in visibility, surging by 1111%. This is the first time Ashi Studio has appeared among the top ten most visible brands during Haute Couture Fashion Week. The heightened visibility across the top ten brands of Haute Couture AW24 can be attributed to substantial increases in the volume of content posted about them compared to last year's AW23 season.
